» Kingston Launches "SD Ultimate" Cards
By George GS. | Published 05/17/2005 | Other | Unrated
From pocketpcthoughts
"Kingston Technology Company, Inc. today announced the further expansion of its Secure Digital (SD) Card product line with the release of new ultra-performing 'Ultimate' SD cards, initially shipping in 512-MB and 1-GB capacities. The new SD Ultimate cards offer significant performance benefits over the current Standard and Elite Pro lines of SD cards, including 133X super-fast transfer rates of larger size files-ideal for the shooting demands of professional digital photographers...Many current devices are sold with an 'X' speed rating, much like CD-ROM drives, to give users a performance indicator of how fast the card can transfer (read and/or write) images. Some manufacturers use 'X' to indicate read or write speeds; others use both as 'data transfer' and a few manufacturers do not define their cards' speed at all. Kingston X-speed ratings are based on 'write' speed and X-speed performance is a function of MegaBytes per second (MB/sec) of write speed. Higher X-speed ratings equal faster cards. "

This looks very good. We will wait for the first tests and the real speed

This looks like a great game for my zodiac.

I learned about this game then it was for beta testing at 1src and almost 2000
people downloaded the beta and tried it. Everybody had positive
feedback about this title and many good comments were written.

The “strange” thing is that now no one is talking about it.

Did everybody loved the free beta and when it the time comes to buy it we find a million of reasons to hate it…

Only 70 downloads at handango!! Come on!

This is a very nice pda phone. My only problem is that Samsung and a lot of other companies from the east dont like Bluetooth technology. Here in Europe we use Bluetooth over 3 years in our phones and pdas. Some companies like Samsung, Lg, Mitsubishi and Nec live in an other century. Why on earth would a buy a phone without Bluetooth and have a cable hands free..

As a pda this looks promising..

» Verizon Treo 650 Review
By George GS. | Published 05/17/2005 | Palm OS | Unrated
PC Magazine has a review of the Verizon Treo 650 available.

As a phone, the Verizon Treo's sound quality is impeccable, with a clear speakerphone 12 dB louder than that of the Sprint version. The folks at Verizon also added their own push e-mail solution, Intellisync Wireless Sync, which aggregates POP/IMAP, Microsoft Exchange, and Lotus Notes accounts into a BlackBerry-like push e-mail solution (a desktop redirector is used for Exchange and Notes).
