Garmin and Asustek still together despite Nuvifone setback
By Dimitris S. | Published  08/4/2008 | Other | Unrated

Garmin nuvifone

"Asus, who are making the Nuvifone for Garmin, remain in a business relationship with the company, despite the Nuvifone being set back from the second half of this year, to the first half of next year. Garmin said this was due to on-going negotiations with network carriers, although it's speculated that another reason could be Asus's lack of knowledge, in the touchscreen-area. Again, as has been said before, the longer you delay something, the longer you allow the competition – Apple, with their 3G iPhone, and HTC with their Touch Diamond, in this case, to capitalise on the delay. " via mobile-review.com
