Whether Apple had a hand in this, or they did that on their own, but AT&T said nothing on activated phones in the Q3 report, however early in 2008 they reported on the entire 2007. And the numbers over there were, in truth, quite something. Apple claims it sold 3.7 million iPhones as of the end of 2007. However its senior partner reports 2 millions of activations."
